The ground rules.
Using Cruise Command means you agree to these terms. They're intentionally short and plain-English; we're not trying to hide anything.
1 · The service
Cruise Command is a personal planning workspace for cruise travelers. It is not a booking engine, a travel agency, or a substitute for professional travel advice. Anything you plan here still needs to be confirmed with your actual travel providers.
2 · Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for anything that happens under your account. If you spot suspicious activity, email support@cruisecommand.app immediately. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
3 · Acceptable use
Don't do things that break the service or hurt other travelers. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the service beyond what a normal traveler would do.
- Upload content you don't have the right to upload.
- Try to access another traveler's account or voyage.
- Use the service to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.
- Impersonate another person, cruise line, port authority, or brand.
4 · Your content
Everything you enter — voyage details, notes, documents, photos, travel-agent records — remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, back up, and display your content solely to operate the service you asked for. We don't use your content to train third-party models, and we don't sell it.
5 · Third-party services
Cruise Command talks to a small number of external services (LLM providers via Emergent, weather, geography, object storage, product analytics). Each is disclosed in the Privacy Policy and each is bound by its own terms with us. If any of them is temporarily unavailable, some features may degrade — the rest of the app keeps working.
6 · Availability & changes
We work hard to keep the service running, but we don't promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features to improve the product. If a change is material and reduces functionality you rely on, we'll try to give you at least 30 days' notice.
7 · Pricing & billing
Cruise Command 1.0 RC2 is available at no charge to a limited group of early adopters. Any paid tier we introduce later will be introduced with clear pricing, a preview period, and a simple opt-in — no surprise charges.
8 · Termination
You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination, we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy §7.
9 · Warranties & liability
The service is provided "as is". We disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, missed sailings, missed connections, or anything a competent traveler would confirm with their actual providers before departing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited (e.g. gross negligence, willful misconduct, or your statutory consumer rights).
10 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer in the EU / UK, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply.
